Hourly/Daily Rates
Our charges will vary depending on the nature of the work involved and the cost of the parts needed. Normally, when asked to undertake some work by a client I will provide an estimate. Any estimates given would be based on the price of parts and the labour.
The labour would be costed thus:
£270.00 per day.
The hourly rates for call outs or shorter jobs are:
£90.00 for the first hour
£140 for up to 3 hours
£190 for up to 5 hours
There are occasions when it is necessary to work for more than 8 hours in a day; for example, if the power to essential appliances (boiler or fridge, for example) is offdue to a fault and returning at a later date would cause undue inconvenience to the customer. Any hours worked past the standard 8 hour day would be billed at a further £35 per hour.
The cost of any parts used would be added to the labour charge.
Quotes
It is not possible to accurately quote for work without a site visit, consequently, if you require a quote I would have to visit the worksite, or your property before issuing the quote.
It is also not possible to provide quotes for fault finding. Faults may be rectified quickly but sometimes it takes time to find the fault and providing a quote for this would be akin to quoting for "How long is a piece of string".
